David Euhus, MD

Director, Mary L. Brown Breast Cancer Genetics and Risk Assessment Program, UT Southwestern Center for Breast Care

Dr. Euhus has been a faculty member at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas since 1996.  Dr. Euhus’ research interests are in breast cancer risk measurement and prevention.  He is the Director of the Mary L. Brown Breast Cancer Genetics and Risk Assessment Program in the U.T. Southwestern Center for Breast Care and the Medical Director of Clinical Cancer Genetics.  He is the recipient of The Marilyn R. Corrigan Distinguished Chair in Breast Cancer Surgery.  He is the author of the popular CancerGene software program, which is used for genetic risk assessment in more than 4,000 cancer centers worldwide.  His federally-funded laboratory investigates molecular markers of breast cancer risk in benign breast tissue.
